About
Mike
Since he retired from the fire service, it has become Mike’s goal to educate all first responders of their rights under the law. He routinely travels the state of Florida to teach first responders the nuances of Florida’s Workers’ Compensation law, including the state’s Heart/Lung and Cancer presumptions, and the relatively new PTSD law. Mike has even taught local law school students, from the claimant’s perspective, Florida Workers’ Compensation law. Mike served in the Florida Legislature from 2012-2014. He continues to consult with firefighter and law enforcement unions on the state and international levels regarding proposed legislation that benefit first responders.
Mike’s most recent venture is his Injury App for firefighters. Because Morgan & Morgan has offices in all 50 states, using Mike’s App, a firefighter from any state can get quick and effective legal counsel simply by entering some basic information. This App is effective for any personal injury matter including car accidents, medical malpractice, or any insurance claim.
